Nice Car! Looks just like the one I could have had (especially if you didn't buy it first). The black on black 6 speeds are almost impossible to find. I think I will even travel out of state to find one if I have to. I have been checking autotrader.com and cars.com for the last month and I have not seen anything that sparked my interest.

Are you planning on doing any mods to your car?

 

the car is completely stock right now, and for now i just plan on doing reliability mods, new f-hose, tbb, ect. Yeah I found it on cars.com the night it was listed...bought it the next day because I knew it would not be for sale long

 

I'm from Milwaukee. My friend works at New Year Auto, and they just got a 2000 manual red s4, It is lowered and has 57K mileage. They just sold two different s4's a yellow one and a black one.

 

Hey I finally pulled the trigger and bought one in Chicago. I got a 2001 black on silver with 70,000 miles on it that has never been modded with a 2 yr 24,000 mile warranty for $15,500! I tried to upload a pic but, the file is to large? Is there another way to upload pics?

Also I am going to chip it and I talked to a Giac dealer in WI and he said that he could get me a chip and vag com for $895. Is this a good deal? Supposedly getting the vag com will allow me to hide the chip from the dealer so my warranty is not void. Is this correct?

 

I'd say you got a good deal on the car, 2001.5 or a 2001? and as far as the giac chip and vag com. I'm not sure exactly what you mean or he means by vagcom. Vag com is the scan tool for do it yourself mechanics. I bet he is talking about the privacy firewall option from giac, pretty much hides the software so it can't be looked at or overwritten.
