Default S5 Interior - Carbon or Stainless?

After waiting for about 5 weeks i finally got my production allocation for a new S5 - i ordered right away and now have an expected delivery date of Dec. Needless to say i am really pumped up about this car and can't wait to get it. I must have spent 15 hours on the web looking at detail pix so i could configure just what i want. I went with Phantom Black with Black Leather interior but am torn on whether i should go with Stainless or carbon fiber accents. I have not been able to find any good pix of the stainless interior (I did find plenty of carbon pix). if anyone has any pix of the stainless - can you please post. I am also open to everyone/s thougths on what looks better so chime in.

thanks - john

Default going with the Carbon - thanks for input

I decided to go with the Carbon Fiber mostly because i found some good pictures of the Stainless Steel interior finish. Although i like the look of the textured stainless steel - what swung me over to the carbon fiber is that the shift surround is finished in Pianno black when you get the stainless - it is only the four door strips that actually get the Stainless Steel finish. On the other hand - if you get the cf finish then both the door strips and the gear **** surround are finished in CF. Seems kind of strange that the stainless is $250 more expensive than carbon when you only get 4 door strips - i would think it would be the other way around but i will take it. to those that answered my post - thanks for your input

Default I think you really can't go wrong...

I just picked up my S5 last night, and the car is spectacular so I don't think you can go wrong with any of the interior trims offered by Audi. That said, mine has black interior and carbon fiber trim and it gives the car a more sporty interior appearance... I am happy with it! I'll take pictures this week and post. Cheers.

My dad has an 01 A4 with black interior and the carbon fiber interior. Dare I say, I like it better than my stainless with blue seats! Its just got the dark sporty feel to it.
