Hey Guys & Gals,

I've been waiting for a black S4 to go on salein my areafor quite some time. I finally found this cutie http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/car/658436075.htmlbut I'm kind of unsure about a few things. The Ad says "For Sale By Owner" but it's at a dealer. My questions are: Will I be negotiating with the dealer or the private party? Also, thoughts of an abused car come into my head. Maybe the owner couldn't trade it in because there's too many things going wrong with it? I think I might be becoming paranoid haha. I'm also worried that this dealer hasn't had a mechanic inspect the car. I just need a bit of clarification as to how this all works. Does the dealer make the sale and the owner gets some of the profit?

i was going to put my a4 at that very place when i was selling it

go there and check it out

i think that you can test drive it there and stuff
then get in touch with the seller

Just something i saw on the ad that i thought i would point out is that the owner has either changed the badges on that S4 or thats a 2001.5 no real big difference just thought i would let you know
