Default Seafoam...

... is awesome. My engine has about 100k on it and I spat out so much carbon build up; it runs so much smoother and idles better. I put 1/3 of it in the fuel tank and 1/3 in a cup and had a vacuum hose suck it in to the manifold while it idled.

I highly recommend this stuff if you've got over 100k on your motor. Link to the DIY:

I did have a few codes pop up and cleared them with my VAG reader, so yeah that would be annoying if you don't have one.

I didn't put any in the oil and I saved some for when I do change it next. You can still do what I did using just 2/3rds of the bottle only in the Vacuum lines and Fuel Tank.

The codes are uaually for the O2 sensors due to a lean reading. Just disconnect the negative wire off the battery for 10 mins then hook it back up and it will clear the code.

yeah Seafoam is the best i have used it in all of my cars even the drag car the day before I take it to the track but I use all of it in the vacuume line dont run it in the tank....dont know how well it would go with 110 race gas

With the use of Seafoam and 110 you might have some extremely hot EGT's so I'd be cautious with it. Maybe try asking Seafoam directly

I did the Seafoam treatment on my S4 in August and man did it put up a smoke show. My entire neighborhood was all smoked over. Fun times. The most noticeable thing was that my engine revs much better. I would not recommend put this stuff in the oil.
