Hello,
I have a 2000 audi S4 and the service light came on for 45000 miles, it is not under warranty any more and Audi dealship want $400 for service which is basically oil change and checking all the other stuff. I can do the oil change my self but how can I turn off the service light. Thanks for all your help.

 

Do you have the manual? There is a procedure in there but I don't have it handy.

 

Find someone with a VAG and have them run a system check for codes and then have them clear the codes.
