I had some Neuspeed race springs on my B5 S4 2001 and i can tell you that ride was inproved
but there is also a bad side to it. Tires will worn on the inside because the camber angle will be
modified from the original. On the alignment table a stock suspension on my S4 have a camber
angle of +- 1 degree. With my Neuspeed Coils it gose up to 2.75 degree and causing bad tire wear.
In order to solve the problem i would have to install a camber kit on the front suspension 600-700 $.
So i decide to put back the stock springs !
I would pay myself an X chip before doing that if i were you.
Good luck w your mods ![8D]

Well all in all coilovers are better but where do you live? do you plan on tracking the car? if so how much? How much do you want to spend? Do you want adjustability?

If your car will see snow you are better off with coilovers so you can lift your car in the winter. If you dont plan on tracking or just about once a year spring and shock is more for u i would recomend bilstein with H&r's. If you are willing to spend 1000+ then get coilovers you will not be upset. As of not the stasis streetsports and vorgtland coilover suspension are the best streetable coilovers on the market that are around 1000.

where here is the decison time... do u want to spend less than 1000 and get a set ride height or do u want coilovers and be able to pick ride height.

Also if u go C/O's you have many picks... from stasis street sports(1100) being the most street able, to the vorgtland(1150) which are very streetable but also good for track use, Then you have the stasis track sports(1895) which are great for track and also street, then the StartupRacing Competition(2895) which are said to be in the top for track use and are fully adjustable, last and the best the stasis motorsports for 3895.

Info can be found at stasis

and

startupracing
