After a grand total of 8 days of S4 ownership someone tried to swipe my car from my own driveway.
I think I know who is involved as my driveway is 200 feet long & you can not see my cars from the street & I live in an extremely low crime area of NJ.(Morris Plains)
Yesterday I took my car for the photo inspection required by Geico & the kid at the gas station was very into my S4 he had a wrx & was talking about how he was at the street races is Newark NJ on Saturday & how the S4's were some of the fastest cars. then that night someonepoppes my ignition & failed to steel it.
Anway now I have to go outside & figure out how to finish the job so I can move the car in& block it so he can not come back& try again.
I told the cops my theory & although he said he it had to be someone who knew I had it but he did not sound like they would investigate.
& they stole my Ipod also Bastards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. Kids in NJ highschools teach each other how to steal s4 at lunch

Just messing, get motion sensor lights for yoour driveway and a super loud alarm with a hood system and a battery back up system, and make sure you hide the battery back up so they cant find it. dont just put it under the dash haha.

Or build a garage.

NJ had this problem like 4-5 years ago. It's still bad in NJ for S4 theft? My s4 has spent most of its years sleeping. But long ago I was worried about all the s4's getting stolen in NJ and installed a fuel cut off. Did s4 theft ever make it out of NJ? I don't see many other states bitching about it. If I had lived in NJ at the time I think I would have just chained the car up. Keeps the bikes safe why not try it on the car?

 

s4's around here like to get the headlights ripped out cause there all to stupid to hotwire a german car ..their all used to the ******* hondas that u just need a screwdriver

 

how did they get in it with out setting the alarm off? anyway 200 foot driveway damn get some lights and a fence with a gate lojack

i know i hate parking my s4 when in in Jersey and thats at my cuz's house who's a cop

side note a 308 will reach out and grab them as they are running down your long *** driveway

Car was not locked & alarm was not set.
I never used to lock my cars hell my wifes keys were in the ignition of her car.
I just lived in my safe little bubble & figured bad things happened in other parts of the state.
