Default Something you all want to check

I know this had nothing relative to Audi but I think it's something we all neglect and should take into consideration.

Here the story...

Right before I'm about to go to bed last night my little brother calls saying his 97 Jetta VR6 hit a patch of dirt and leafs and slid his front passenger side tire into a curb causing a flat tire. I go driver over to where he is at to give him a hand... luckily it was close to my apartment. When I ask him where is his jack he has no idea. So we drive back home to get a jack and drive back. We get the spare on and start lowing the jack to see the spare is nearly flat as well. Awesome, so we jack the car back up, take the spare off, and head to a gas station. We get the spare pumped up and back on his car. What should have taken 15 mins took a hour.

So the moral of the story is to make sure you have a jack and most importantly make sure your spare tire is properly inflated. I know I haven't check my spare tire pressure for almost a year now, but will be tonight.

Thanks for the advice! I bought a matching spare recently when I bought the S4 some new shoes so I'd hope its still inflated... I still laugh at the Cayenne's half size spare while most Audi's have a full.

Good advice, I'll check mine tonight.

Regarding the Cayenne -- that's ridiculous, you pay that much money for a car and you get a shitty doughnut for a spare???
