Tomorrow morning I'm going to check out a 2006 S4. I could be a regular member to the forum pretty soon...

The car has about 4000 miles and is supposedly an Audi exec's car that was purchased by this dealer.

What should I check out during the test drive and inspection??... please help me put together a checklist!

Well there is not much to check out for since the car is almost new and under full
warranty. Meaby check for prior crash or repaint area. Door/fender/hood clearance
(if it's steady all the way). Meaby a CARFAX. Otherwise if you have a good price

 

Hmmm....

Ask if they already did the whole Paint Sealant deal, and all the extra stuff they try to sell to you w/the warranty once you agree to purchase the vehicle...Do that beforehand so they cant slide it in with the extended warranty schpiel...

um, Is it already tinted? They might try to slide that in after purchase too...

4,000 miles...You got a thousand to go til first maintenance. ehh, shouldn't be anything wrong with it, give it a good once-over for any dings or repainted areas like chebert advised, check the rims if they clubbed some potholes or something (you can sell those B7 S4 rims if you keep em undamaged, you're gonna want 19"s, TRUST ME.)

uh, make sure they unprogram a Bluetooth phone of theirs, and the memory seats....simple stuff like that...

Thanks guys... yeah I know there's probably not much to check but I'll take my time and scrutinize as much as possible...

rims, tires, paint, body... check all controls etc...

I'll try to anticipate the paint sealant thing too since I intend to get it certified / extended warranty

 

So what's it look like, Color? Sedan? Avant?

 

It's a Dolphin Gray Sedan... I haven't seen the colour first hand yet - I hope I'm not disappointed by it...
