Specific Question Regarding: S4 B5's
Heres what I need to know... If someone could explain it to me would be most gratious. First off, my Girlfriend absoluetly needs an Audi, she was sleeping one night, and she just got bit by the bug... Gotta say, I may keep it for myself, but in all honestly I'm gonna give it to her; more specifically the B5.
Now I need to know what the differences between a 2001 and a 2001.5; how can you tell the differences? does the 2001.5 only come w/ alcantara interior? can a 2001 s4 b5 imola yellow, w/ black leather be a 2001.5? I heard the 2001.5 is better... if someone could elaborate that would be great. I know one of the most rare ones are the 2001.5 nogaro blue w/ alcantara interior; what are the chances I can find one? Of course the woman wants that one, but she will settle for black on black if the car is right, and quite frankly you can NEVER go wrong w/ black. I totally missed out on exactly what I was looking for by like 3 weeks or something. Someone sold the 2001.5 nogaro blue s4 in my area and the thought of hanging myself has crossed through my mind, but thats neither here nor there.
So the 2001 vs the 2001.5; I'd love to know everything that sets these two beasts apart. Please post up; thank you in advance; be safe!

Check the FAQ, all of the differences are there. If you wait long enough and look in a big enough area yes you can find imola, nogg, or black with the corrosponding alcantra or leather interior.

thanx for the tip; I suppose I'm being a little over zealous lately. I read the FAQ and it answered all my concerns. Much Thanx; move over, I am completely amazed how I haven't been flamed for being such a noob. This forum has some forgiving posters hehe!

RE: Specific Question Regarding: S4 B5's
I'm sad to say I drive a rather loud and sooped up black 99 mustang gt w/ a full roush bodykit and wing w/ side exhaust, cervinis stalker hood, and a black widow front bumper. Few other random things, few performance mods. My car is black on black on tan (convertible). The chick drives a 1994 e36 325i in black. The reason my girlfriend wants to get such a bad car is she is tired of not having enough power to deny people when they cut her off. She also loves the E36 body style, and quite frankly the B5 looks very very similar, but way sleeker. In addition to having an audi, she doesn't want the car to be girly at all; she told me,"I want to get out of a badass car and have people say,"I cant believe a girl drives that!"." She likes black cars, I do too. I don't think theres much badder than black on black w/ black wheels and a high polished lip or something similar. I have big plans for that audi, but I'm not gonna go and drop 14 g's on upgrades on a crappy S4; I need to find the right one.

Yeah i think theres an s4 buyers guide somewhere in the FAQ. its a PDF and has reccomendations for what to look for in a b5. Late model is definitly what you want, basically they revised a few things and its a little less prone to turbo failure. Just look for low miles and a full service history, also always check carfax. Know that if the T-belt hasnt been done it will need to be done by 90k.
haha interesting you mention black on black on black with a chrome lip.......before the clear corner mod....
