Stage 1,2,3?
I am new to the audi scene, and don't currently own one, however my bvest friend is an audi technician and is getting ready to buy his first S4. So, I have been on the forum researching the car and trying to learn about the aftermarket power potential so that I know what he is talking about when he starts modding it.
I currently own a c5 corvette, but have had a couple of MR2 turbos that i upgraded as well so I do have a decent knowledge base of turbo cars.
I have read the sticky's and FAQ's but have yet to see what is involved in the different stages? So i'm wondering what makes a stage 1 a stage 1 or 2 or 3and so on? What power levels are involved in each of these stages? What kind of boost levels can these turbos hold and at what power levels does the factory fuel system become insufficient.
I know this is a long first post, but i have tried to research this on my own and couldn't find the answers to these couple of questions.

a stage 1 from apr might be different than revo or unitronics or mtm...... then how you do your exhaust and how free flowing it is, what turbo's you use.......... blah blah blah

Stage 0- stock- 255hp FTL!
Stage 1- chip- ~310-320 hp
Stage 2- chip and cat back exhaust- 320-330 hp
Stage 2+ chip, catback and downpipes, IC's - 325-340hp
Stage 3- -K04's, and all the above, no fueling, stage 3- tune 350-360hp?
Stage 3 - K04's and fueling- 400-440hp -FTW
Stage 3+ - Custom tuning 450+ FTMFW!

in my case.. i dont care as much, the fast and more powerful the betterr.
