Stock boost is?

RE: Stock boost is?
It will vary a little with the weather. Also don't forget not all boost gauges are 100% accurate.
The only way to tell if you are running Ok, is to run a log with Vag-com on block 115, & see if you are getting what the car is requesting!!!!

so i just have to buy the USB link and the lisence from ross-tech, and then the bentley manual? The complete kits at like $800 are a little out of the range of what id be willing to spend. Its all only for PC , theres not any options out there for mac users?

RE: Stock boost is?
I just did a Vag run monitering boost for the first time. My engine/ecu is totally stock.
After adjusting for atmospheric pressure I'm sitting right about 10psi....hope that helps
My buddy has a Unitronic chipped (1 bar) B5 S4 runs about 14.5 psi
10 psi has to be stock if I've done my math correctly...right??

1530mbar is just over 1.5bar, what you need to understand is that bar is based on ABSOLUTE pressure. Meaning that 1 bar is 0psi of boost, so 1.5bar is 7.25psi of boost. My 200tq reads 1.5bar, but that's only 7.25psi. 0bar is a complete vaccuum, and will not be attained inside your intake.
