I took a look at the caractere site. it looks more tastefull then anything else ive seen IMO. But i dont think my dad wants me to put an aftermarket bumper on. Ive been begging him to let me do a milltek exhaust but he wont let me. Since he bought me the car i cant really complain i guess. So i called the body shop and set my appointment for next Wed.

ahh thats too bad.. Not sure how much the caratere stuff would run, but i agree it is very nice..subtle yet aggresive. I think it was in the newest eurotuner or european car there was a guy with a black a4 that had it on..it looked great.

Yaeh.. would he be the one buying the exhaust? or would you pay for the exhaust... if its you paying for teh exhaust i say just do it.. he bought you the car true..but its yours now and you can do what you want with it if its under your pocketbook.

I would be paying for the exhaust. But my dad is worried that the warranty will be voided. I talked to the dealer i bought it from, and both the places i get it serviced at and everyone said they would still preform warranty covered service. But my dad wants me to keep it stock. Its not fair, his RS6 is fine the way it is stock, but i cant hear my V8 . He doesn't feel my pain.

eff that..just do it.. haha. Your money, and you have confirmation the warranty isnt voided from an exhaust. The sound is unreal btw.

Yeah the though has crossed my mind, but he has explicitly told me not to modify the car in anyway without asking. And if i do i will prob. loose the car and end up in something less disirable. Ive been stock for an entire year and the mod bug is slowly dying everyday. Hopefully with enough begging and convincing my dad will come around

did you hit something or did someone else ding you? if it's the latter, i'd find that culprit and have them pay for damages.

To answer your question, someone hit me in the work parking lot. I had security check the building cameras for me and they said they didnt have the right angles on the camera to see the area that i parked in. So the last 2 days i have been parking in the very back corner where there are no cars within about 20 yards. its a pain of a walk but at least i wont have to deal with anymore thousand dollar dents, knock on wood. O NO! theres no wood in my cube
