Yeah they came with my car I think they are Hyperboost, but they look like the Hyperboost Adjustable which say will not fit on the 2.7t which makes me a little lost.

I found these they kind of look like yours and they say they will work with a 2.7t. Also if you ahve no problems with boost or holding it they look fine.
cheers,
paul

Actually, they don't. The history of the car is best think to find out about. Who is the previous owner? Were there any other modifications done to the car? For example: A fifty year old man with an S4 that lives in a small town and knows nothing about turbos would take his car to the local mechanic and say, "fix it." The local mechanic would source the cheapest DVs that he could find as long as the physical dementions matched his measurements (hint: EBAY). Once installed, the car would run better. The mechanic gets paid, the old man has his car back. Who knows?!

The best thing to do is to pull them, check the spring tension, and pressure test them. If they pass, they pass. If they leak, you know you need to look into new ones.
