If you have ran a wire from the battery to the trunk either for an amp, battery relocation, or any other reason please read:
What was the route you took to get the wire from under the hood to the trunk, i was going to go down the driver side under the plastic piece by the doors but cant figure out how to get it up so anything would be grately appreciated. Thanks

Best thing is to go through the rubber grommets in the fire wall, & run it through the interior to the trunk.

I've heard of a little heating and melting wires problem from another S4 owner who ran speaker wires by the bottom of the door and under the backseat which just lifts up out. He smoked the inside of his car out and was so ticked he just ripped it all out .

Ok, and>? It sounds like he used to small of a gauge wire, & was running to much power. This will happen no matter where you run it.

It's your car, do what you want, as you want.

Hello!

I“ve got a amp in my trunk, but i didn“t got the + directly from the battery, but i took the power for the amp from the connections behind the fuse box inside the car. You only have to take off the lower cover underneath the steering wheel (you can see it on the pic,you can useone of the connectors inside the green circle)
