Default Tire Size Question

Ok, I own a 2000 Audi S4, and I have major curb rash on my OEM wheels. I also have some pretty worn tires, so I'm looking at getting both replaced by the end of the summer. Ive been looking for some wheels here and there, but a user on the forum is selling some P235/40R18 tires for 18" x 8 wheels for an Audi S4. I was wondering if the P235 would be ok, because I know P225 is the recommended tire for this size wheel. How much diferent would it look? Anyone have pics of P235 tires on the S4? Thanks.

Default RE: Tire Size Question

Well I called around a little bit today, and it looks like P235 tires will fit just fine on the S4, barring I get some 18's later in the summer to mount them on. Just though people would like to know. P225 is recommended, but my mechanic said P235's are fine and P245's are also possible to squeeze on with the right wheels.

You'll be fine with a 235, it will also protect the rims a little.
