tires that wont make car look like crap

Stock suspension B5 S4. Replacing my old wheels and 225/45/17 tires with 18X8 wheels and Potenza Re-01R. Would 225/40/18 look alright considering that I am not lowered or would 235 be better?

its not the tires..its teh suspension that will make it look like a monster truck

monster truck is exactly what i do not want. i have seen numerous 18" wheels out there on stock suspension...some look clean, some dont. seriously...i am concerned with the look
