Touch Up Paint (ing)
Anyone have advice for touch-ups? I just got my 05 Moro Blue S4 3 weeks ago and i already have a little road rash on the hood. Whats the best way to get coverage on those spots w/o looking like blue birs ****?
Thanks!

never an easy one with stone chips but first thing is to get a proper colour match and not from Audi because they never get that right so have it made up by a paint shop ( water based paint is best ) 95% of the job is preparation

Audi gave me a touch up kit for my laser red that matched flawlessly. They got me a base coat paint marker with a clearcoat paint marker to finish. After it dried for a couple days Iwent over the touch-ups with a LIGHT rubbing compoundand then waxed it. You cant even see the difference.Your paint code is in the trunk. Give that to your local Audiparts counter and they should be able to give you the right color. I also 2nd stressingthe preparation. Make sure you remove any and all wax from the surface to be touched-up. My color isn't metallic so your results may vary if yours is metallic, astheycan behard to match-up sometimes.
