dude, take that thing off and burn it, seriously. Ecs lied, it is not an upgrade to the stock, in fact it is way worse. As you can see its skinnier and does not have the groove for the clamps so it tends to slide up does it not? It caused me to have a slight boost leak cause of that and it kinda caves in on itself. Get your 50 bucks back IMO.

APR bi-pipe, or custom aluminuum bipipe is the only way to go IMO. Stock bipipe is pretty restrictive, and the TBB just sucks no matter what. Allthough i never had problems with my samco it was pretty cut up when i got it off

yeah well this is just a hold over till i get my bipipe back from the ceramic coaters, I love my bipipe but i am just trying to keep the air cooler if i can. also thinking of wraping it in heat refective wrap, along with my fuel lines cause as everyone knows cooler fuel and air means more hp in the end.

Wow, I didn't know there was so much animosity towards the Samco TBB. Is it really recommended to avoid it? So many of the reputable companies (AWE, Avalon, ECS) sell it as a legitimate upgrade to the stock TBB. Is it really not that good?

P.S. Don't mean to hijack your thread readimag.

hey dont worry about it that is what this forum is all about, let me put it this way if you dont have a problemor dont plan on getting a chip. I would jsut save up for the bipipe, but if that is to much money and you dont know where you want to go with your car the samco is the way to go.

I have a samco TBB on my car, and by the looks of it, the previous owner had it on there for a long time... it fits/works great and I'm not aware that there was any trimming done to it
