Is anyone going to make a stage larger than the apr stage 3 or the awe stage 3. I mean I have seen jetta vr6 engines putting down more hp to the wheels than the stage 3 kits. If I were to get an S4 I would want to be able to beat a jetta that had a nice turbo kit.....

 

Autospeed performance came out with a gt28rs kit, but it hits you at 13 grand... ouch...

of course a vr6 would put more to the wheels its two wheel drive, more power to two wheels than four with a similar kit

What turbos are in a stock 2000 - 2001 S4?

I've been modding 3000GT's for a while now and have access to some guys who can modify the hell out of some exhaust manifolds and turbo housings.

Trying to figure out if these are running TD04's, TD05's, Garrett's, what?

Can't find much reference material and I'm looking to buy one then mod it out to about 400-450 awhp.

upgrades generally go to the k04 which are in the rs4 or a k04/k16 hybrid. That new gt25rs kit from autospeed uses garret

 

Skarzie, yeah I know it's a K-03, but who manufactures it?

I'm trying to figure out which one so I can go to that manufacturer's forum and find out what other (larger) turbos will fit the bolt pattern and have a turbine blade small enough to fit in the stock exhaust housing and/or how much the stock exhaust housing can be bored out to accept a larger wheel...

K-04 would be OK, but I don't think worth the $2,000 - $2,500 I keep seeing these go for, and $10,000+ for the Garretts including new headers and such is a bit steep for me.

Trying to find a good in-between mod (probably like everyone else).
