but colors is probably the best cds you will ever listen to, hands down. it is one big long song, every song flows into eachother perfectly. If you are interested I could send you a copy - i think your breath needs to be taken

haha I know how fun it is, you get to meet so many awesome people, and some not so awesome - but its always worth it!

i'm in portland, oregon - so i'm just north of you. the metal scene really sucks here... I find myself having to travel around to different places to find a good sound. I used to live in california in antioch (bay area) and sometimes I wish I never moved.

side question - what kind of amps to your guitarists use?

uhh one uses a krankenstein head(amazing!) with a metalhead fender(****)
and the other uses a mesa boogie triple rectifier half stack

their tones have gotten pretty mean

 

I think i tried the krankenstien out when I was buying amps, but it was a bit too solid state sounding for me - i'm really picky haha. I've heard them sound great though! I have 3 mesa boogie amps, a Mark IV Head (my main one, kicks ***), a Dual Rectifier Tremoverb, and an F50 (practice amp), all of those through 2 mesa rectifier cabs (2x12). I kind of want to sell some of my guitar stuff so I can afford more car parts but i know i'd regret it!

I need to listen to you exhaust when I get to a computer that has sound!
I used to see a S!ht load of bands when I work at a club in boston. A lot of solid bands I never heard of and a bunch of mainstream. Mudvayne was great when the singer had his head litterly a foot from my head screaming his head off when he crouched down. Sick show when I wasn't catching crowd surfers, lol. I miss that job a little. I wish Killswitch came by!
