Hey what is the big difference between the S4 Avant and an "ultrasport" avant. Is the Ultrasport better?
Just curious because there is one for sale in my area, a 2002, and when I was looking for an avant I emailed him to see if he was flexible on his price (16k), and to see what the ultrasport was. He was kind of a D-bag and said that the price was "hot" and that he did not have time to tell me what an ultrasport was. I told him to **** off and I bought a B5 S4 Avant. From what I can tell the Ultrasport is an 1.8T A4 wannabe version of the S4, is that true?

yea im pretty sure its just a a4 avant with a 1.8t 6mt. haha man we have like the same exact car but mine has been worked on ;]

What all have you done? I like the RS4 front bumper "gills".
Do you have the roof extender? Cant find one that is under 350-400 for the life of me. Found one for a '02 for $50!!

thats pretty clean man, if you want to do a quick easy and free mod to your car i advise you do a Darintake. ive done a couple for my buddies and its byfar the best and easiest intake you can do, also works better than most aftermarket intakes.

The ultrasport was basically just a trim package, kind of like the new S-Line. No power differences from a standard A4, 3.0 or 1.8.

yea, it came with the 5 speed, the A4 didnt have a 6-speed. it was a wanna be, thats all. you got a way better deal sounds like!

 

Sounds like! Maybe I will call mine an Audi Actualsport Avant
So far I am super happy with it. It is really clean in and out and has been well taken care of and maintained. Just need to clear up the air bag light (control module) and the heater issue (clogged heater core) and I will be set.
