I am planning on doing a flash this weekend to my 2007 S4, Was planning on going with the GIAC since I saw others using it, But the shop recommended Unitronic over it. Number seem about the same +21hp and +17lb. Any feed on their products would be greatly appreciated

 

My buddy has a Unitronic chip in his 2001 s4. Silky smooth power throughout the rpm range. I know you have a different engine than us B5'ers but just thought I'd let you know that I was really impressed with the Unitronic programming for the 2.7t engine.

Hopefully I'm going to get reflashed this month!

The shop, Shine racing does some of the others but recommended Unitronic. Also someone at my dealership use to own a company that did modifying told me I should go with them. Will be bringing in next week to have it done and will let you know results[/align]

Do it....I just got mine chipped a couple hours ago. Wow! I really like to powercurve on the Unitronic!

 

never heard of it my self to be honest but I can understand how it would work via a frequency oscillator tuning box linked to the ECU and variable tuning capacity ect ect
