Vag resulsts and issues on my car??
So i got on a vag last night and got a log of about 5 minutes of it running as well as pulled the code. Here it is below. If anyone wants to see waht we got its basically monitoring each cylinder for about 5 minutes. Basically cylinder 1 misfired once as well as 2. And cylinder 4 misfired a whole lot. It seems to be only happening when i was at idle or low speed or slowing down. When at cruising speed its stable and runs fine. Almost seems liek it could be a slight drop in power at the lower rpm.. to just under 13v? Anyone have any ideas what this could be please let me know. Thanks for youre help guys.

Could be several things. However the most common are typically cat or O2 sensor related. It could be that your cat is going bad on that bank. I would recommend you clear the code and see when and if I comes back. I assume there is no difference in the performance of the car lately?
It could be software (chip) related...what software are you running? GIAC is known to run rich and sometimes throw codes on the driver's side bank.
I'm actually getting the same code right now as well. I just replaced both my cats so I'm ruling that out, next is the rear O2 sensors which I have and plan to replace soon.

Im runing MTM software with a full turbo back exhaust.. obviously the 02 sensor was my first thought.. but youd think that itd be an issue when im at speed not just low speeds and idle. It threw the code and i cleared it already and it came back about a week later. give or take a few days.
I dont know.. it seems to me that if it was a sensor itd be more consistent at all speeds not just idle.
What are your thoughts on a bad or failing coil pack? but i think that would affect at speeds too??

I doubt it is a coilpack issue....you would think you'd be experiencing more misfires if it was. Do you have the original cats on the car? If so, how many miles are on them? Could be your cat failing. Are you getting a check engine light, or just finding the codes with you VAG it?
they are not the original cats.. and the new ones have about 25k on them.. so i wouldnt think that would be the case... I got a CEL once..got it cleared.. came back about a week later.. adn then after about 4 days went off on its own and hasnt come back..about another week. just got on the vag yesterday and that was the only code. had someone else suggest the cat failing as well. but that just doesnt seem to fit.
sorry hano.. my computer just doesnt liek to load this site some times.
