very hard to pick which S4 to get~ please help
Im'm currently in the market for a S4. I have two choices to pick but dont know which to get
1) 2000 Nogaro Blue with sport pkg (2 tone seats and such ...) 56400 milage, clean title, has these mod parts, AWE exhaust, PSS9 suspension, GIAC ECU.. timing belt NOT changed yet however, TBB, DV, and MAF were changeed. clean inside out.
2) 2002 silver with black interior, 67000 milage, all stock except a remus exhaust, extended warranty til 09 or 100k miles. timing belt, turbos are replaced.
price of both cars is around $17k.
I really like the interior of the blue one and also those tasteful mods, but im not too sure about a 2000 S4 since the 2001.5 and up are always better. The silver on has warranty which is always better but no mods. I tend to like to buy a car with little mods so that i dont have to spend time to do it myself and i know that if i get stock car eventually i will mod it that means pouring a lot of cash ... which i dont want to .... so i think my major concern is that how is the reliability comparing a 00 to 01.5 and up?
i really appreciate any input, thanks

Really thats the biggest decision, do u want the nogaro with sport or a plain silver.
Even tho the 02 silver is prolly just as rare as the 00 nogaro just because of # of cars made in the years. But its pretty much a toss up with either car. down the road you will want the sport package mirrors atleast for the silver. but it is nicer with the warranty and knowing you have the 02 with all the small issues fixed. Thats a tough choice you got for yourself m8.
Good luck.

Get the 02. You don't want to have to worry about the timing belt and clutch. I just had to do both on mine after only owning the car for 4k miles. Although, is the clutch stock? If you're planning on a ton of mods, you will want at least an RS4 clutch. Also, if you buy a car already modded out, if you're like me you'll be bored. I enjoy fixing and modding my cars myself.
first of all thank you everyone. i got another pick that i might consider to get and its local 15mins away from me rather the blue and silverm ones they are about 6 hours away from me hahaha anyways ... this S4 cost around $12k... what do you guys think?

I would pick the one that drives the best. I like the first one, nice suspension, nice exhaust.
The timing belt is a little early at under 60kmi. I'd say around the 80kmi mark.
