Default RE: Void Warranty

thanks everyone for your replies, i think u pretty much answered any questions that i had about it....

...and one of my friends put one of those BOV sound generators on his ford taurus hahaha and it was ghetto as hell, plus i already have 2 turbos i was just wondering if i could get the "whoosh" sound out of them

the "whoosh" sound isnt that big of a deal really though, to go as far as what u were talkin about volk but thanks for all of those suggestions they were helpful and to answer ur question volk, MICHAELMARC hit it right on the dot "danigurl the whoosh u are talking bout is the turbos spooling and the wastegate actuator doing its job - and generally heard when u have very little traffic bout and windows down"

Doing something like intake wont void the warranty. And if it does void the warranty it will only be for that certain part. So like if you go an upgraded suspension and your turbos blew, youre still covered. They have to prove that the part you added caused the problem.

If a dealer can get out of paying for anything on car, they will and they will do it buy pointing the finger at the smallest of things

Any way there isnt much of improve with CAI - just like K&N filter? Waste of money

murphy: the AWE Bailey DV's are considered aftermarket

Im sorry I wasn't clear on my question now that I think about it. What I was wondering is what is the difference between the bailey dv's and 710N and 007 DV's. What is better for the car? where do you get the 710N and 007 DV's. Thanks a lot.

Moral to the story is just get 710ns they are OEM and they do just as good of a job as any other DV. unless you're really fixed on shiny metal things.

Ok the Baileys, Forge 007 are all made of metal and i dont think they have a rubber diaphram like the OEM, but they require periodic lubing and cleaning to get rid of crud and all coz they wont seal and will leak if they are dirty inside- to me thats a pain in the ***[:@]

So alot of the guys go for the Bosch 710N DV's, need no maintaince, these are not as prone to rapture as stock and a must for a chip, they are over $100 buck cheaper than the Forge and do just as good a job. The 710N is made of plastic

I got the 710N (Audi TT DV's) on the min and work fine, the Forge etc are all over kill. There is a hell of a lot of guys who are using the 710N on the stage 3 kits with no probs at all

So save a $200 and get the 710N!

Has that covered everything
