New to the forum, Im picking up a 2000 Audi S4 6 speed with 80k miles in a few weeks, what are the things I can do to it to make it run mid 12's?

there have been some high 12 runs with stage 2+ cars (chip, exhaust, downpipes, and some of them have new IC's). Granted those are probably very good drivers, but stage 3, you will be there for sure.

I'm new here, but have been looking into the S4 for a while now. I am definitely looking at the K04's but haven't been able to find them in many places. The only place that has the kit is APR, but it's an $8K kit and that's ridiculous. Can I find it cheaper somewhere else and if so, where? Also, if you could list some good sites for S4 info and performance parts, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

look at the powt stage 1 s4. with just a chip a kids running 13.0009. So with a chip and downpipes and some tuning you oculd run a 12 second pass

I picked up my ko4's, piping, and hardware for $2,700. Not a bad price considering the vast increase in power. Labor is where it's gonna hit you. Your're looking atleast $3000 for the install.

I think APR has a ko4 turbo(rs4) upgrade kit, full on stage III set up for about $7000.

Would a setup using GT28's be similar to the K04 setup? Meaning, it would all be the same work, but putting the GT28's in place of the K04's and maybe some bigger downpipes?
