Wat do u guys think of this s4?
yea of course u have to drive it but it says clean title and good cond. so i was mostly saying the deal. I think i could get it for 13500 maybe
Yeah..the deal looks ok...and I think you are right...there is probably some downward flexibility in the asking price....especially since it is only in fair condition...that usually opens up allot more negotiation.
heres teh email i got balc minus some stuff so u cant steal the car from me haha.
It runs great ... lots of power. It has 4 new z-rated Michelin Pilot
Sport Tires. There are new brake rotors and pads on the rear and new cv
joint boots on the front.
It has the bose audio, 6 cd changer and moonroof options.
The A/C is excellent. So is the Bose sound system.
The engine starts first time every time and idles and runs very
smoothly. I add about a quart of coolant every three months or so. I don't
need to add oil between oil changes, but I do notice a very small oil spot
on the driveway under the car: it looks like maybe one drop per week or
something like that.
The Kelley Blue Book Private Party value of this car in "Good"
condition is $17455 (www.kbb.com) and I am asking $14500.
The price is low because it needs some work and I'd rather put the
money into a new car. Here are the defects I know of:
-Suspension bushings are worn. According to my mechanic this means
replacing 8 control arms and 2 tie rod ends.
-Front brake rotors and pads will need to be replaced in the next few
months.
-Scuff marks on passenger sill & wheels. See Image019.jpg attached.
-Minor scratching of paintwork on front & rear bumpers.
-Turn signal indicator sometimes flashes intermittently. Might need a
new flasher unit.
-Hinge on storage container in armrest between front seats is broken.
-Some dead pixels in trip computer display on dash
Im not worried about much other than the suspension. How much do u think it would be to fix?

i found out that that car need around 2400 in suspension owrk, a new window motor and teh timing blet and water pump had not been done. I ran up the maintence to get it in good shape and it was around 17,000plus it had a broken armrest hinge and scratches on teh front and rear bumper. I can get a s4 iwth 65,000 for 16,500
