Default What is this?

So I was checking my vacuum lines and noticed this line is loose. It doesn't snap in tight where its supposed too. The end on the firewall is fine, its the other end that doesn't snap in tight. What does this line do? Does it need to be fastened securely? Thanks.

Look as if you are pointing at the brake booster.

OnlystreetraceAWD,

What is that smaller hose connected to that is going into the booster grommet?

Is this the line you are referring to? Or are you talking about the larger hard plastic booster line?

Oh, and holy sh*t! I can't believe your coolant tank still holds liquid. Mine didn't look half that bad before it started to leak. That's crazy

Not supposed to but if it's old they do. Most people have to replace them because they crack and discolor.
