RE: What is the best way to clean the leather
Use Lexol cleaner and conditioner, got mine at Sears 'bout 8 bucks a bottle (I don't know if that a good price or not, seemed ok to me)
DO NOT LET ANYONE USE A STEAM CLEANER - READ MY THREAD

Of course I didn't know they were going to use the steamer....and I'm still fighting them legally, super gay!

Yea, water or moisture is not good for leather!
First thing is you need to clean, then you need to protect. You have the alcantera inserts? Just use a sponge with some cleaner on it, then wipe with a towel.
Leather, find cleaner made just for the leather, & protect. Any auto interior cleaner, should work fine on the alcantera.

If you have bad grime and stuff on it that normal cleaners wont take off then Use simple green or greased lightning with a 10 to 1 water to solution mixture, Works really good to get the heavy crap off. only the leather tho not the inserts.
