More specifically Rear View mirrors.

My auto-dimmer has never worked since getting the car.

I'm looking at a bunch on ebay but don't know what years will work with my 2001 S4.

FWIW I know there are a lot of Search ****'s on here, and I did search, but didn't find the info I was looking for.

 

theres a manufacturer name on your mirror and from what i heard you call them and they replace it for free ...no lie man

I was looking around and saw people were getting the b6 mirror with compass which works aparently.

 

LOL, if it works there are going to be a bunch of happy people!

It's a quite common thing, up there with the center dash lines.

You can use the B6 one with the compass, or just buy a new one for the B5.
