Where are you working getting min wage as a tech? Do you have any experience? Any Pepboys up there? We start techs around $16 an hour and I can definately get you an interview if not the job, but if you can do a K04 swap it shouldn't be hard to get the job.

where do you work? this is my first tech job. i mean i've done things on my own car and stuff, but never got a job. and to me, it's a bit different working on your own car than working on someone else's. if **** goes wrong, oh well... it's your car. but if it goes wrong on a customer's car, it's your ***. and that's why i think i'm getting min. wage. lack of work experiance.

no way dude, i got 8.50 with no experiance, then i went to a dealership after that and started at 10, stayed there through school and left making 14 hourly, then left to goto another dealership for 15 hourly in a 60 trial before i was flat-rate. and thats here in rochester, cost if living isnt even that high. your gettin screwed my friend. and if you f*** up a customer's car, its not necissarily your ***, you can learn how to be and a$$#()!e and find ways to make the unsuspecting customer pay for it. you see things differently from a tech's perspective...

Wow, you are the reason people f*cking hate mechanics. If you mess up, face the consequences and stop duping people. I have multiple friends who are mechanics who are not dicks like you. That remark you just said about making an unsuspecting customer paying for your mistake is ridiculous.

Andy, my friend Vasil, the dealer (car dealer fools ) says he had a 2000 S4 with 70k miles stock that sat on his lot for 3 months before he finally got 16 g's for it, so he will not give you what your car is worth. Mods don't help him sell the car so its not worth it to take him the car. If you do sell your mods let me know, I am definately interested in a couple of them. If you want to hang on to it for a little bit, then do that. Otherwise, if you are going to sell it, put it on the forums, craigslist, autotrader and Ebay. Just see what kind of interest there is if you are serious about selling it.

Yeah 6.50 even with no experience is way low. The tire/oil change guys at my shop make 8.55-10 an hour. I'd be looking for a new job.
