What mods should I do for my 2007 S4?
They do look similar i will give you that and they even said that they replaced the s4 badge with the quattro and i know the one in cincy had the quattro badge. That car is supersweet by the way.
yeah i noticed my car was really similar to the limited edition one. Only difference is the emblem and the color, which is why i think my delaership said it was based on the limited edition one.
Hi Everyone,
I'm new here and also looking for an S4 or possibly an RS4. I just wanted to say that this is a great site full of useful information. This is a particularly interesting thread as I was also wondering what mods are available for a 2007 S4 and whether it's worth it to mod a 2007S4 or spend the extra $$$$$ to order a 2008 RS4. Of course, my preference would be to just go with the RS4 but it seems thateven then, I may get the itch to further mod the RS4. I think the wife will put a quick end to spending more $$$$ on an exhaust system, etc.after seeing the price tag on an RS4. Anyway, I'll keep checking back here for your comments and suggestions. Thanks in advance.
By the way, the S4 posted by lazyjayz may be a 2007 model with the new DTM kit. I saw a couple of these in Audi dealer showrooms around here in the Bay Area. The DTM kit is based on the 2006 25th anniversaryedition of the S4. It's a $1,500 option for 2007 S4's which adds a different front bumper with a carbon fiber lip and a carbon fiber lip on the trunk. One dealer said that owner's of the anniversary edition may be pissed because they paid a premium whileadding thenew DTM kit to a 2007 S4 is relatively cheap. I think the front grill is the same as the A4 when you add the DTM kit. Also, you lose the front fog/driving lamps with the DTM kit.

and yeah my car is equipped with the DTM kit, i dont know if you've see the pictures i've posted but i lost my front fog driving lamps. and thats exactly why my dealership said my car was basd on the 2006 limited edition because the kit made the car very similar to the limited edition.. but cheaper
I think you should get an RS4 but if you want to get a sleeper go with the S4 and get a MTM charger
, either way the difference in hp is gonna be abit above 10k . I would still go wit the rs4 cuz its so much more sicker and nicer

Mydecision between an S4 and RS4will generallybe based upon timing and price/performance. I definitely want a car with serious hp but also want the fit and finish of a European car. I had thought (and sometimes still think) about the Saleen Mustang (Supercharged - 465 hp, Extreme 550 hp, Limited Extreme - 600 hp) but I test drove the car the other week. Basically, themoney you're paying is for the name, motor and other little cosmetic bits and pieces. I didn't see the value for the price andthe interior just sucks. So, I've narrowed my choices to the S4 and RS4 but I'll have to wait for an RS4 while an S4 is immediately available in my area. If I want the S4 to match the performance of an RS4, I'll have to invest in a supercharger and possibly some upgrades to the suspension and brakes. Then again, I may just be happy enough with the way it is. Right now, I'm leaning towards the RS4 so I don't have to hassle with the upgrade process and I guess I can wait awhile. I just don't want to wait too long that I'll miss the 2008 model year. Does anyone know if the RS4 will be backin a2009 model?
