Default What price to pay?

What seems to be the going average under msrp for ordering a new s4 convertible. I know the m3 verts or going for 2-3k under msrp. Any dealer recommendations for best prices?

So no one is buying new? Thanks for lurking. Why all the fascination with the old s4?

I picked up a new 04 S4, in April 05. Because the 05 had already come out and the B7 was on its way I got mine for 3k under invoice. I don't think you are going to find that now, and especially since it seems there is a premium for the cabs (I have the sedan).

Not sure where you are from, but in the N/E there are allot of dealers especially around NYC so you can usually get a decent price.
Some other guys have posted about what deals they have gotten...you might search the new member area...I don't remember specifics but I'm pretty sure people are paying under MSRP.

rescuesyou, who do u think we are? Dealers? Why dont u call up the audi dealer and ask yourself, its not that hard. What makes u think audi owners check in with the dealers weekly to see the new rebates.

Thank you abacab. Audiboy, thanx for nothing. I have called many dealers and most will not give a qoute over the phone or email. I never asked anyone what the rebates were, so nice job responding about what was not asked. Calling dealers and getting price quotes is not the same as seeing what others are actually paying.

I just picked up a 2005 Ebony effect MT6 s4 cab for $48k, with 2,450 miles. It was essentially brand new. The previous owner had the car for a month and i am told she didn't like shifting gears so she traded it and got a clk benz. My advice, look around for a fairly new pre owned. The new ones come with a $1700 gas guzzler tax which you can avoid by buying used. Sticker on mine was $60k. Try ebay. That's where I found mine.
let me know how you make out.
