Just ordered a nice B & M short throw for my '01 S4. Wondering which shift **** I should buy? Howdoes the RS4 black air leather **** feel? My car is Brilliant black ext. with a gray leather int. if that would make a difference. Any suggestions w/ or w/o pics would be awesome! Thanks.

 

Shift ***** are a personal preference, I have yet to feel a stock shift **** that just "had to go", and I like the stock one on the B5 S4. Some people like different looks or feels, but I just can see dumping money into something like a fancy shift ****, but that is just me.

search for a CF shiftknob. they look so nice. espescially on black cars.

i don't really know why people change the shifter *****. i personally think its ugly if i see a modified shifter ****. like some cf or steel or aluminum.... if you REALLY need to change it just go with an rs4 one. or just keep the stock one and use the money toward something else, which i know is ALWAYS usefull

I am going to get that birds eye maple i think in a few months.. Jerbel already told me its good and I think that it was made to go in that car with the wood trim. Good thing I'm not paying $200!

 

I PM'ed Jerbel and he told me $180, i would love it but too much! Not before i have a boost guage. Maybe when i have more money, allthough i did spent $50 today on a Mothers powerball and clay bar...

 

def boost gauge first. ya oncwe the spring comes I'm gonna give it a double wash, clay bar it, polish and then wax it. it sooo needs it after this winter.... plus my rear bumper is all scratched from getting rear ended twice in a matter of 15 minutes. lol. spending the ins $$ for my fueling, lol.
