I need new tires on my '04 S4. Just curious as to what tires have worked best for everyone on their Audis.

 

rubber compounds are prefered around here.......



haha, but in all seriousness, you arent going to get much of an answer. with the quattro, you are going to be able to make bad tires seem much better than they are, and good tires will seem great! its up to what you want, road sound, performance level, wear, ect. Personally i have Pilot Sports, they are awesome, quite for a directional tread, and super grippy, but also expensive and not the best wear. Just pick whatever is in your budget that meets your needs....search tirerack.com to find something you in your range.

 

i have Toyo Proxes 4's and well, they are amazing. I'd get those, will cost ya around 650 for all four.

I have Goodyear Eagles F1's the grip is insaine on dry pavment and it has decent wet traction.

 

a lot of b5 guys like the Kumho Ecsta SPT for summers. cheap and good.

 

I´ve got some Hankook Ventus V12 Evo as 18" on my B5.
I like them.

 

What about Nitto tires... I've heard very good things about them.

 

I have Bridgestone potennza RE-O1R and they're awesome great wear, awesome dry and wet
traction.

 

try the Bridgestone Potenza RE960 Pole Position. i have these on my 19s and they're just amazing is the wet and dry oh and not to mention they have a 40K mileage warranty.

 

Been very happy with my Yoko AVS on 19" wheels & Vredsteins on 17" winter wheels.
