ok, so i have been trying to sell the dps from SSA, because i already have piggies. Just installed in the cat-back, and i am very disappointed. Even with gutted cats and piggies, it has no bark to it at all. the borla sounded way better! I did not even keep it on. just put the stock back on, and im going to do some surgery and remove each muffler one at a time to see what i like. those mufflers are pretty cheap looking too, probably better off w/out them.

yeah I had the same problem when I got mine but I still have my borla, I am going to remove my second muffler and hope that helps me also. yeah it does sound softer but i do kind of like it i dont wake up the whole house when I leave for work at 5:30.

haha, yeah with my strait pipes now, it is crazy when I get on it, I am thinking I may jsut take off my middle cat bac and leave the back half so the cops kind i have it. and let it dump after teh strait pipes and really wake everyone and get maybe 5 hp or so.

 

those mufflers just need a little surgery is all. got any guttin/welding tools?

Hey blue, does it sound drastically different in person vs. the sound clips floating around AZ/AW?

Also, do you think the SSA cat back is quieter than the Borla?

 

yea, its quieter than the Borla i had. borla had a litter nicer rumble to it. the SSA represented pretty good by the videos. i will get a comparison video of it with and without the front muffler in a few days.
