how much boost does that gaic chip make?

 

14 to 15 psi

 

i thought giac pushed like 18psi?

 

I had the impression that it was a 1.0 bar configuration but I could definitely be wrong. I had it done like 3 months ago so whatever GIAC is doing now is probably what I have

 

How much was the total bill from the dealer? I am haveing power downs on mine with 105k miles, I think the turbos might be gone from a recent REVO package upgrade.

 

1.5 bar i do believe.. and that should put you at 17 to 18 psi with the GIAC. and i do agree.. if you paid all the labor the RS4 K04's upgrade would have been a minimal expense over the k03's..

 

Yea if I had the option to I would have put in k04s but its not me thats paying for it

that seems very cheap for a turbo replacement as the k03 turbos alone are more then that. Does the repecipt say they replaced the turbos? I would deffintly go back and see the dealer again today. I to also have the Gaic chip and i seem to only push 15 psi i dont ever really get into full boost right as i have a bad turbo and need to replace them, have my k04's sitting in the kitchen and no money to install

 

Whoa I feel stupid, I thought you meant for the GIAC chip haha, the dealer was like $7200.00 including a new torque converter and all installation.
