A tint wouldn't hurt, keep the car a little cooler.

 

To me it would be a no brainer - KO4s! I mean come now - spend $ on perormance - but thats just me. Upgraded coilovers or a better sway (not sure what you got) could be worthwhile as well. IMO - your car looks fine as is! Lighter wheels - OK - worthwhile as well...

I don't have the $10k to get it done right (K04, inlets, fuel, RS$ Y-pipes, VB & TC), so it's out, I only have a few grand to play with.

That is up on my list, but I an trying to find some donor trim, so I get it all done, like the center console. I don't need help with the Chicks.

Not getting the mirrors, they don't look right on Imola.

I'm thinking of putting in some cams, an Hybrid turbo & a new TB on the EVO, that's about $2500 installed & about 350whp!!!

yea, no CF body parts for me, they all fit like POOP!!!! More on the interior bling stuff. I have gone that route on my M3, same feeling.

I do live in WASHINGTON!, don't have to worry about the Sun doing anything. If I do some tint (don't consider it a "mod") it will be very subtle, like 50%.

 

For new coilovers, i put the Koni coilovers from Stasis engineering on my S4 and the handling and ride is amazing!!! You don't have to mess with the damping or anything Stasis already takes care of it, just stick em on and go hit the track.

 

+1 Tint, car will look SO much better with tint. But don't waste your money if you're going to get 20%-30%, just dumb to pay for tint so light. Get somethin darker like 10-15%. Looks real nice

 

Not really an "upgrade" from what I have now. If I get new CO, it's going to be $3500, Ohlin, or Penske.

What is it with you guys & tint? It's low on my list of things to get done. Unfortunately, Johnny Law likes to pull you over & ticket tint, even if it's "close" to illegal. I also don't like it that dark, if I did it, the tint would be light.

 

i say get ko4's - awe is 5200 with fueling just minus the manifolds and ic's y pipe but still stage 3 is stage 3 imho apr has financing so really it wont hurt you and if you want to get IF dont get 50% u wouldnt be able to tell if u have it

 

damn... trouble is everything is so damn expensive...

so the back of your rear headrests aren't all dried out and hard? it would seem hard to believe to me, unless it hardly ever sees sun. i bought my 00 a few years ago and the headrests were in pretty bad shape. i'm sure the sun is stronger here in fl, but still, it has to do something. seriously, you should consider doing it, even if it is only 50%. i've heard anything darker than that is just for aesthetics anyway, it doesn't really block any more uv rays, could be wrong tho.
