Default whats this? so random

i found this on my B pillar while vacuuming out my car yesterday. it has a red led in it to illuminate it and some weird shaped tool looks like it fits in it. is it for the seat belts or something? driver side only

Their should be a button there. It is to deactivate the motion sensor inside the car.
