Wheel bearing or cv joint problems
Hi everyone im new at this forum thing so please excuse me but i need so help. I own a 1993 s4 with the inline 5 cylinder turbo engine i have owned it for about 3 years and i love this car with all my heart. I am feeling a loud noise in my front left and at speed it causes a pretty severe vibration my first thoughts were wheel bearings i got to looking and i can only find them for the rear so is it my cv joints please anyone that can help i would really appreciate it i will be glad to return the favor if at all possible. Thanks, Taylor ps. if u want to e mail me it is audiboy0110@hotmail.com thanks
I would first have the wheel balance, it only costs like 5 bucks and might save you some cash in case its not the wheel bearing/cv joint.
Also, take the wheel off and look a the CV boot, is it still intact and making a good seal? I think the wheel bearing would be more of a culprit for the vibration, but again, checking the obvious details first might save you a few clams.
