So I just got an apartment in a richer nicer area of Michigan where Audis and BMWs roam free. But, some jerks are stealing peoples wheels and leaving them on blocks (which they also stole from the apartment complex). So my question to all you S4 lovers, what type of lugs do you use? I was just about to buy some locking lugs, but then quickly realized, Audis have the bolt and stud in one. I have aftermarket wheels with special lugs that require a tool to remove. But I am still weary about it and want another set of lugs to add some more protection. And once winter rolls in I will have to put my stockers on and want some lugs for those too. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

 

Thats suprising our stock "snowflake" rims aren't worth much anymore. You can buy the special lugs and locking ones but I would just use either blue or red locktite on the stud and nut and see if someone can break that loose with anything less than a three foot breaker bar.

 

yeah, or go to pepboys and they can order you a pair, I would not worry about your stocks getting taken in the winter to cold at night and to much snow.

 

you can get a set of 4 wheel locks for pretty cheap...my car came with them and another huge bag of lug bolts in the back
