Hey guys I know this question has probably been asked a lot but, I have searched and havent found an answer. I am getting rid of my chrome wheels and getting some black wheels with a chrome lip. My question is what is a safe offset for 20 x 8.5 wheels? The wheels I am looking at have a 40 offset. will that clear the 2004 S4 calipers?

 

are you seriously putting 20's on there?? 20 is too big..id stick with 19 on the b6 platform.. but 35-40 should be fine for offset..
