Where can I find chrome window stripping like shown here?

its stock...probably can get it just about anywhere.

 

I know it's stock but I can't find it that is why I'm asking.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to resort to that, thanks. Do you know how difficult it is to replace the molding?

 

I have personally never replaced window seals/molding on an audi S4, but on oldervw beetles (a passion of mine)the metal is inserted into the seal. When you replace seals on windows you have to cut the seal all the way around the window. I wouldn't recommend making it a weekend job if you have no idea what your doing and don't have the right tools,probably the cost on replacing one of the windows would be the same as paying someone else to do it.

 

I checked with the dealership and they want over $1000 to order and install them. I might just abort the project unless someone can find them for cheaper.

 

Try ebay for an A4 or something getting parted out. see if you can snag 'em.

 

I have been looking there but so far no luck.
