I have the 'premium Bose' in my car with the Nav system and audiopilot and ten speakers, but there is no midrange and the subwoofer on the back deck seems to be useless...Has anyone modified their systems without messing with the headunit? Is there anything I'm missing that I haven't adjusted??

 

Hmmm...I love the sound of mine. Guess everyone has their own preferences in audio equipment.

 

my bose on my b5 sounds great, but no bass whatsoever. That is the only thing im gonna do to audio, is a subwoofer that takes up minimal space.

 

i have a 10 inch bazooka tube in my B5 S4. couldnt be happier. the bose speakers really are excellent. since they are all components when you take some of the bass away from them (run a tube or subwoofer) they sound even cleaner. i would definetly recommend it, but jest is right, its all about personal preference

 

I have the premium bose in my s4...it seems very acurate...but not very dynamic...but I like it.

I hate the audiopilot....makes listening with the sun roof open almost impossible...anyone disapble it? How were the results??

 

Factory sound system upgrades are always a waste of money.

I have the non-bose in my b7 and I think that it sounds fine. The stock sub even kicks a bit.

 

i have stock speakers in my a4 non bose and they are great as soon as i got an aftermarket deck. I dont kno why u guys pay a grand for a stereo when u could just go to a stereo place and get a way better system for teh same or less.

 

I didn't have much of a choice...all 3 dolphin grey 2005.5 manuals in the California area had the bose stereo when i was purchasing.

 

i dont care what kind of deck you have, if the speakers aren't quality then your not gonna sound to good. if the bose pisses you off go out and grab a tube. they are easily taken out, not very big, and will only run about $500 with installation.
