Is there any reason people dont fab there own hard pipes from the Y-pipe to the TBB? It cant be that hard to do and I think it would be more cost efective to do then buy the RS4 hard pipes. As long as you upgrade your MAF it should be able to handel the change in CFM or Grams per secondright?

 

People do make their own, but its kind of overkill for k04's. No need to do anything with the MAF unless you want to, the change is going to be very small. The logs shown below are for GT turbos so they have alot more top end potential and are more affected by the stock bipipes. You can still see the difference is pretty small

RS4 parts are stupidly expensive. The RS4 charge pipes only work with the rs4 TBB which only works on the RS4 throttle body which only fits the Rs4 intake manifold which only fits with the RS4 heads. APR makes their bipipe too but its expensive.

yah i have the bi pipe. what about making your own charge pipes insted of buying the $600 plus RS4 ones? Im thinking of going KO4 so thats why im wondering.

 

ya thats what the last link is. Someone from AZ sells aluminum ones on ebay that are under $400, you can also make your own if you have the tools & know how
