Dont tell him not to run studs...lol. If he wants to and can legally and is in snow all the time..then absolutely...GREAT traction....

I have the wintersport m3's..they are great..i love em...

Its your car..if you want to keep miles off..then store it...if you want to have fun..then drive it.. I personally LOVE it in the winter...pass trucks with ease....I cant wait for the snowfall...wehn we get a big one...i take her right out and go have some fun...

as usuall i agree with sooks... i mean i know the S4 is nice and eveyrone loves ot keep it clean.... but come on its QUATTRO hahah its meant to be driven in not the best of conditions. and snow driving is soo fun, even if u loose control, you just steer and get back into the gas and she burns right out of the slide its awesomeeee.

I vote for either Blizzaks for SERIOUS winter driving if u wanna go were car shouldnt, but i also run all season tires like most have said. Last yea i believe i had some yokohama all season i forget what they were tho.

Keep in mind the m3 is like a winter performance tire... Has good snow traction. and decent dry traction...So it depends on how often youre in the snow.. I live in mn.. So its not really mountainous, so we dont have snow everyday....and we have the best DOT, so usually theres really only snow on the roads for a day...so id say during the winter my driving is 75% still on asphalt... If you have more snow..you may want to consider a more serious snow tire... Nokian makes a nice product. Thats not to say the m3 isnt a good snow tire..cause i have no issues at all with them on...just a perspective... The m3 are also pretty hard to come by..i got a flat on one and had to basically special order it to find one...there was like only 2 in the country at that time..so said the dunlop office in my size.

yeah the only reason im putting the all seasons on is because they are sitting in the shop on a set of 18' RS4 reps. and are better then the F1's we are also a cooper tire wholesaler so there are I think Cooper weathermaster studded. any thoughts on those

Fast Addiction is in VT? damn, I gotta take a ride down and introduce myself! im lookin to do the kit sometime next fall I think. or earlier what did you pay with them?

Just an update, just took the A6 out and we just got about 3in of fresh snow no plows have hit it yet and I got home and told my mother to come meet me outside. took her for a trip through the valley (long swooping turns) took her for some sideways turns little E-brake action. nothing all that special but she doesent see that stuff...Loved it. its fantastic right now.
