i just got this on ebay trying to sell my oem diverter valves...


with this derverter valve can u hear it blow off better with a intake ?

Sad, isn't it? I think you can give partial blame to technology and the car manufacturers for making it harder for them to learn how things work.

The rest of the blame can be given to laziness and impatience to figure out "how it works" when they can just buy it instead.

 

i would have understood.. okay.. with this diverter valve should i see improved performance. .. but no.. i got.. " will it sound good??"... i mean.. geez.. "my car sounds like a ferarri.. but i ran a 15.2 at the strip and it wont go over 130 mph.. its awesome!!!"

You know its not that I care either way if our cars go woosch or not. It would be cool sometimes to let people know you are going to destroy them, but I have found that chicks love that ****. I tell them, “yeah I have an Audi S4 with twin turbos” and the first thing I get asked is, “does it go woosch when you shift?” And then they get all excited and are like ready to take off their panties and ****. I’m like WTF? I drive an Audi, that should be the most awesome part of this whole experience, but oh no it’s not, it’s the stupid *** blow off valve noise. Then they freeze up like an ice princess when you say, “no it doesn’t make that noise cause I have DIVERTER VALVES you stupid *** bitch!”

 

ROFL!! i know.. right after i did my stage 3 swap and the open exhaust lets those RS6's spool up all loud and **** my wife was like.. " I love that turbo noise .. its awesome... I just wished your blow off valve was louder.. " .. PSYCHE!!! she never said that. she was to scared shitless pinned in the seat at WOT just over 4000 to even think about that.. i put this guy on the level with the kid who came to my shop and asked me to help in wire up a turbonator.. one of those forced induction fans that retards put in their mitsus and stuff... the kid swore to me up and down that it really pulled like a turbo car.. lol.. oka.. ya... i know it does.. flippin' moron..
