WOW...LLTEK sucks
form time to time i've heard from forum users that LLTEK sucks...and i never belived them...cause their site has the exact stuff i want...so today i orderd the B and C pillars made with"real carbon fiber" and they said ok..the sale was complete.. then about half an hour later they call saying the the carbon fibers materials where being use by the MILITARY (bullsht) and he asked me if id want the imitaion ones that look just like the real thing and i said no. and he's all like they are on back order so we don't know when we'll be geting them back in...and i said it's ok i'll wait.. cause i want the real thing if i'm gonna put it on my car...lol..
just saying this to let you know that LLtek B&C carbon fiberpillars are on back order or Military use????lol

Its not entirely untrue, recently (even the past few years) carbon fiber prices have been increasing steadily. In all aeras there has been a carbon fiber shortage which drives up prices, and obviously its much more difficult to get if you are a company that used carbon fiber.
"Primarily due to increased use in the civil aerospace industry, the market price of carbon fiber saw a 150 percent increase during 2005. Allocation and contracts to Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner and Airbus’ A350 XWB caused supply constraints, and suppliers raised prices to suit. The carbon fiber industry was seemingly unprepared for the demand spike caused by both the commercial aircraft industries and the Pentagon. As such, producers have addressed increasing their capacities aggressively"
I found that in an article off of googles news search engine.
The producers of carbon fiber are trying to increase their production rate, but obviously that dosnt happen over night. Your B and C pillars may be in stock at some point in the future, but military and aerospace get priority. The imatation is a very logical thing for them to offer you in exchange, maybe some people dont really care if its real or not. Boeign is much larger than Lltek and unfortunatly the smaller companys feel the effect most.
