Any of you know whats invovled with converting to xenons with a 2k s4. Can i just throw in higher intensity bulbs or do i need to rewire a bunch of crap? Thanks

 

Unless you have an Canadian car, you have STOCK HID'S!

 

I think he was refering to the high beams... which i too would also be interested in knowing what it would take to make them BRIGHTER! The HIDs are fine though.

 

i think u would need 2 more ballast one for left and right head light so in total u would have 4 ballast one for low and one for hi i tried doin research on it on how to make the lo and hi beam HID's but it was too much would trying to find another spot to place the other ballast to chrage the HID hi beams

But now that i have HID's for fogs..i dont need brights..lol. If i put on my brights..it looks like my lights were just turned off.

 

you dont need 4 ballasts, just higher wattage ballasts. I know some places sell 75W ballasts (twice as much juice as stock).

 

Yes you do need 4 ballasts... our High beams arent HID... So if you wnat them for your high beams, tehy need ballasts..much like the 2 for your low beams.
